Haskap berries are high in the antioxidant anthocyanin, and have a higher vitamin content than nearly all other fruit. The name “haskap” means “the berry of long life and good vision” in the indigenous Ainu language. The berry was renowned in Hokkaido for thousands of years for its health benefits. These jellies can be served cold or at room temperature, according to preference.
