Framed WoodArt - made from 100% natural uncolored wood - is created in Hokkaido by craftspeople living among the famed landscapes of Furano & Biei.
Whichever design you feel drawn to, your completed piece will be unique. Craftspeople select original colored and grained woods for each piece (the studio has up to 150 wood varieties in stock!). After the chosen wood is machine-cut the WoodArt is carefully arranged using a joined-block technique. No two artworks are the same, and people are often amazed to learn that wood can naturally exist in so many colors.
Exact grain patterns and wood colors may differ slightly from photos, as each piece is custom-made and unique.

About the producer
Kobo Pecker is a small Asahikawa craft studio that creates carefully crafted wooden works using an array of up to 150 different, natural, uncolored woods from around the world. Drawing on generations of wood craft technique in Hokkaido, the Kobo Pecker team uses precision machines to cut the woods and then a joined-block technique to carefully craft their famous clocks, wooden artworks, watches and other beautiful items.
