About the Product
Wild rose Face Toner to bring out the inner beauty of your skin - a gift from the nature of Hokkaido. This face toner is light and refreshing, with a gentle, natural healing that cleanses deeply into the pores. The floral water and flower extract release impurities and contain antioxidants that aid in the regeneration of collagen, an essential process for skin beauty and vitality.
Hamanasu roses - known as Rosa Rugosa in English - blossom in summer on the sandy soils near the coastline at Urahoro, in south-eastern Hokkaido. Their brilliant pink, sweetly scented blooms create a splash of color loved by visitors and locals alike. Traditionally, the Ainu people valued this flower for its health giving properties, utilizing the petals in tea, eating the rosehips, and of course, enjoying its fragrance for relaxation.
Application: After face washing, put a few drops of the toner into your palm or on a cotton pad and pat gently onto your skin.

about the producer
Rosa Rugosa takes its name from the beautiful wild Hamanasu rose that blooms every summer along the shorelines of Hokkaido. The company grew out of a small-town revitalization project in Urahoro, in the Tokachi region, and is actively supported by the local community. The company developed a method to grow the usually wild Hamanasu rose in sufficient quantities that rose water and flower extract could be produced for their signature line of organic face products. They further utilize a variety of seasonal ingredients from the region - including tree oils, leaf and seed extracts - to create safe, natural lotions, creams, serums and soaps that everyone can enjoy. Rosa Rugosa is active in promoting the use of organic products through workshops and pop-up events. The company has been heralded as a model new-business born of grassroots community support while operating in harmony with the environment. ingredients
