While everyone has eaten dried ramen, few have tasted premium dried ramen from Hokkaido. Hokkaido is famous the world over for the marine life, and these ramens highlight our seafood infused flavors with authentic soup broths and impeccably made wheat noodles. This 4-pack includes two portions of crab miso ramen, and two portions of scallop shoyu (soy sauce) ramen.
The seafood flavors do not end with the savory broths, which include real hairy crab meat or Hokkaido scallops: Even the noodles are infused with hairy crab or Hokkaido scallops, creating full-flavored dishes both from the broths and the noodles. Furthermore, the noodles have been boiled in 100% Sea of Okhotsk seawater, making them naturally salty and imbued with the minerals of the ocean!
To prepare, quick-boil the dried ramen noodles to taste, while heating up the soup broth separately. Then combine the two, while adding any additional ingredients of your choosing, for example, a hard-boiled egg, chopped spring onions, or bamboo shoots.

Minamikawa Noodles has been in operation since 1969 in the distant city of Monbetsu, on the cold shores of the Sea of Okhotsk in Eastern Hokkaido. Its aim of creating unique, locally-sourced products resulted in the creation of seafood flavored ramens and noodles infused with red hairy crab and Hokkaido scallops, in conjunction with the salty, mineral-rich waters of the Sea of Okhotsk.
Minamikawa Noodles exemplifies what Hokkaido small businesses represent: a connection to local resources, the utilization of premium ingredients, along with creative manufacturing in the pursuit of excellence.
In 2000, they founded a salt manufacturing sister-company - Tsurara Co. - creating edible salts from the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk.
