Founded in 1923 on the shores of Lake Toya, Wakasaimo has maintained a dedication to using only the highest quality Hokkaido-grown ingredients and all-natural, real-food additives across their line of time-honored sweets. The founder Hakotoshi Wakasa was inspired by Lake Toya's pristine environment and renowned agriculture, and devoted himself to creating one of Hokkaido's best sweets companies.
